Rapper Young Dolph shot and killed in Memphis.
Born Adolph Robert Thornton Jr, professionally known as Young Dolph was shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S on Wednesday, November 17 36.
Memphis Police Department officers are at the shooting scene where one male victim was pronounced dead.
The deceased was later identified as Young Dolph by eyewitnesses who were at the area when the shooting took place.
“Bro they killed Young Dolph,” a man is heard in a video of the scene. “Bruh they did kill Young Dolph. What the fuck?”
A reporter from FOX13, Jeremy Pierre shared photos from the scene and was able to confirm Young Dolph’s identity as well.
“On the scene of a shooting on Airways,” he tweeted. “I’m hearing Memphis rapper may be a victim in the shooting. “Shooting happened at Makeda’s Cookies.”
Maurice Hill, owner of Makeda’s Cookies said his workers informed him that the 36-year-old rapper walked in to buy cookies on Wednesday afternoon. Someone pulled up in a vehicle and started shooting at him.
Young Dolph Lamborghini is parked at the parking lot of the bakery when the FOX13 crew arrived. He prides himself as the King of Memphis cause that is his community.
Adolph has been involved in gun violence so many times in past. The rapper was shot and left in critical condition after an argument in Hollywood in 2017. Later that same year, more than 100 shots were fired at his SUV in North Carolina where he was to perform during the CIAA sports tournament.
“As many as 100 shots were reportedly fired late Saturday in uptown along the 600 block of North Caldwell Street,” the Charlotte Observer reported at the time “Police say the incident was not related to any CIAA sanctioned events, and there have been no reports of injuries.”
Young Dolph died at the age of 36.
