Early Life


Born Juaquin James Malphurs on May 31, 1986, in South Jamaican Queens, New York, United States. Together with his family, they moved to settle in Riverside Georgia. His mother, Debra Antney worked as a manager and CEO of Icey/Mizay Entertainment, a company founded by rapper Gucci Mane.

Malphurs did not have much interest in music despite his mother’s connections with the entertainment industry. He preferred Basketball and the thought of becoming a rapper did not cross his mind. Even though his family was relatively wealthy, Malphurs got involved in crime and gang-related activities. He spent much of his time on the streets of Atlanta, especially when he lost his older brother to a car accident.

When Malphurs turned 14 years old he began developing an interest in music. Things changed when he saw rapper Gucci Mane on stage performing.
