Kidi single

Kidi, who won high life song of the year at the recently concluded Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, has received his fair share of the abuse that music fans, followers, and critics usually heap on artists in the industry after he took to social media to share ticket prices for his upcoming Golden Boy concert inside Coco Vanilla, East Legon on 29th July 2021.

Kidi, who signed to Lynx Entertainment, is making waves for asking as high as ten thousand Ghana Cedis (10,000) for a table of ten people, with the cheapest set selling for an astounding 3,000 Ghana Cedis, which fans and followers think is outrageous on his side.

Kidi had four awards to his name, including Afrobeat Artist of the Year, was disappointed once again when he did not win the Artist of the Year title, which he has been hunting since 2020.

Kidi felt he had won the award outright that year, but things took a turn when a colleague on the same record label as his, Kwami, won the honor that year.

This year, although things seemed to be going well for him to be named the overall winner, it was given to gospel artist Diana Antwi Hamilton once again.

Following all of these setbacks, Kidi wants to give supporters a cause to relax with a Golden Jam Session at Coco Vanilla in Legon, but things did not go as planned for fans since this relaxing does not come cheap.

But, putting all of that aside, if you genuinely want to join Kidi for this pleasure, enjoyment, and popping of Champagnes, Whisky, Vodka, and other alcoholic beverages, you must be willing to pay a large sum of money to have a peek of this happiness.

Kidi has received the thrashing of a lifetime after publishing this fee schedule on social media, as fans and supporters believe he is inconsiderate being out of his mind for asking them to pay a rather a large sum of money for his Golden concert, without taking into account the contemporary COVID-19 The pandemic that the civilized globe has been dealing with in the past two years.

They went on to express their displeasure with him in the comments section, claiming that even King Sark, Ghana’s highest and most respected rapper, charged ten thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc10,000) for first-class tickets and as little as five hundred Ghana Cedis (GHc500) for regular tickets at his recent concert.
