Early Life

Born Dequantes Lamar on October 4, 1989, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. He grew up having an interest in reading. Lamar enjoyed studying literature and creative writing classes. Quan had his high school education at Ronal McNair Sr. High School, he played baseball in school for more than 4 years. His dream was to become a baseball player. Quan furthered his education at Fort Valley State University, and during his early years in the varsity, he began playing baseball as a centre field and leadoff hitter.
