On the 19th of January, 2018, a man aged 28 killed his neighbour after repeatedly asking, “When are you getting married?”. This shocking incident took place within Kampung Pasir Jonge, Indonesia.
As per Astro Awani and Sinar Harian, The man, who is 28 years old, named Faiz Nurdin, was on the porch of his home when a pregnant, Aisyah, 32, was there to talk to him.
“The suspect revealed that the woman said, ‘Faster get married, the others are already married, why aren’t you getting married yet?’ These words were a snide comment to the suspect,” a spokesperson from the police department said.
Faiz took the words of his neighbour to heart and was shocked.
That same day, he lied to be visiting Aisyah and was then invited into her bedroom, not knowing what he was going to do.
As she made her way to her bedroom, Faiz quietly followed and put her on the bed. The mother-of-two attempted to defend herself by biting her fingers, but it was not successful. The suspect, enraged, strangled the victim to death using his hands.
“The suspect then stole some money worth RM230 and the victim’s smartphone in the room,” they added.
