Floyd Mayweather’s daughter Yaya is facing up to 20 years in prison for allegedly stabbing NBA YoungBoy’s baby mama, Lapattra Jacobs.

According to The Jasmine Brand, Yaya Mayweather is facing lengthy years in prison for stabbing Lapattra Jacobs multiple times at the home of her baby father, NBA YoungBoy. The attack on her rival Jacobs resulted in multiple serious injuries and hospitalisation.

In April 2020 after Yaya and Lapattra got into a serious altercation that involved rapper NBA YoungBoy. Legend Floyd Mayweather’s Daughter Yaya was hit with an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to the Neighbourhood Talk she’s scheduled for February 2022 for a pre-trial hearing.

In January 2021, Yaya and NBA YoungBoy welcomed their first child together, and the baby boy is the seventh child of the Rapper. Before the birth of their baby boy, the couple were separated.

However, 21-year-old Mayweather took to her Instagram live to share that she’s the “happiest she’s ever been before” and also admits she “loves being a mother.”

According to Complex, NBA YoungBoy is currently in prison as his bond was denied and he is to be in jail until his trial. He was taken to police custody on March 22 in Los Angeles on a warrant based on drugs and weapons-related charges in 2020.

The Advocate reported that YoungBoy’s attorney has represented a case for a house arrest on Monday 18, asking the rapper to relocate full-time to his Utah residence. Where he’ll continue making music in a constructed in-home studio and be monitored by a private security firm staff.

However, District Judge Shelly Dick declined the request allowing the rapper out on bond. According to the Judge, YoungBoy is very dangerous to be let out following his multiple charges of gun possession in Louisiana, and he could be a danger to the community.

“[YoungBoy] is a danger to the community, [and] no condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of any other person and the community.”
